As three women psychologists with deep expertise in neurodevelopmental assessment—and as mothers raising neurodiverse children ourselves—we understand both the clinical process and the emotional weight families carry while seeking answers. We know firsthand how long waitlists, unanswered questions, and delayed access to support can leave families feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and alone.
We believe meaningful support should not begin after a report is written. Our work is grounded in the belief that understanding a child’s unique developmental profile early, through careful assessment, thoughtful guidance, and strengths-based interpretation, can open doors to practical supports, confidence, and hope.
We are committed to helping families take little steps forward, even while they are waiting- and to reduce the waiting where we can. Through collaborative evaluation, clear communication, and actionable guidance, we aim to empower caregivers, honor each child’s individuality, and ensure that no family feels they must navigate this journey on their own.
As mothers of neurodivergent children (of various flavors), we created the Neurdevelopmental Collaborative to remove delays between concern, diagnosis, and access to services.
The Little Steps Forward Project specifically addresses the barrier between waiting for an autism evaluation and receiving services. We partner with ABA providers and other treatment organizations to deliver independent, autism-focused diagnostic evaluations – allowing families to move forward with clarity, confidence, and timely support.
